Trash Talk for Week of October 2, 2011

Getting better, update done and it's still Saturday. Good weekend of football on a colder and windy day out there today. Still two teams at 4-0 and two teams at 0-4. Time to start checking the schedule to see when Burgundy and Silver play and when Baby and Black square off. Next week's Thanksgiving, always brings up an upset or two as a key player ends up eating turkey somewhere instead of playing football.

I agree with Miguel, thanks to Miller and the green team for letting us pick up players when we were short... twice!

so orange had just 6 and burgandy had 7 and they picked up raf's brother??? so orange had 6 and burgandy had 8? if rafs brother wanted to play why didnt they let him play for orange so orange could have a sub? please orange and burgandy clarify what happened here?

Not sure what to say about the Burgundy side of the deal.

Orange had 7 and played with 7...

We had 7, one sub. Burgundy just had 7 I think. Tuna didn't play D, just threw and they only had one on the sideline at all times. I didn't notice anyone playing that shouldn't have been. Just another game both teams were a little short.

Burgundy only had 6 healthy players. I played QB only so we had 6 healthy guys plus myself. Not really sure how many orange had. It was a good game though. Burgundy's D played great to pick me up as I didn't play as well as I could have. Good job Burgundy.

Thanks to Baby(TO) for letting Gold pick up guys again this week. Looks like we are not the only ones with this problem. Hopefully this will get better?

I call on the executive to launch a formal inquiry into all aspects of the player makeup in the burgundy-orange game. Was spack truly not there? Was he in fact hiding inside one of Scotts thighs? Was it really big Pete playing or in fact verville? Was the other raf in fact just the same raf but cloned? The membership requires the truth, which only an inquiry led by a respected elder statesman of the league can uncover. Dare I say it? Yes, we require the Skinner inquiry. Seriously, we are seeing way too much airtime associated with who had how many men show, as well as who those men were.
In the spirit of predictions, silver with a dominant victory over the king brothers, the Klassen-assassen, and BV! Red, you might as well stay home and chew on the bird, cause you are going to get stomped on come Saturday.

My hair makes me better than Kerry Collins. It gave me the strength to pass the ball to Pierre Garcon who runs as fast as my hair mousse drips when I sweat. If I had sucked on Monday, I had plans to join the WMFL, but now, I am looking to get the Colts to cut that guy name Peyton. Maybe he will join the league after getting cut, I'll put in a good word.

Schultzy vs the World - Week 5

Is there anyone listening??? Very quiet week on the chat board, although it seems like I ruffled a few feathers with my ratings of Frank last week...

Who needs to know which teams are short? (no, I am not talking about you Tim Mc…) 5-0 again last week. That’s two perfect weeks already this year. Again I can’t think that I will be able to do consistently, but let’s try it again.

Thanksgiving weekend is here already. What are you thankful for?? Are you thankful that you have a QB that can zing the ball in? Are you thankful that you get to spend 1-2 hours pretending you are still young on Saturday morning? Are you thankful that you aren’t on the team with a certain player? Whatever it is that you are thankful for, remember it this weekend.

15-5 for the season. Looking to add another 5 on the win side today.

Will Gold be able to play at 8:00?? Will they have enough players and if they don’t will there be anyone on the sidelines that they can pick up? Will the league do anything to help this team with their shortage of players?? Many, many questions. If they get their team out they are better than the Black team.

At some point this Navy team is going to win some games. They have talent, but just don’t seem to be putting it all together yet. Perhaps this week?? The TJ < Kevin ranking is based on the fact that TJ doesn’t help much when sitting on the sidelines…

Green pulled out a tight win against Teal last week, while the Hadden-less Orange team was smacked by the Spack-less Burgundy team. Pretty sure the newly-married MH will not be there, but not sure about the rest. This will be a very close game, probably down to the last possession.

They have proven themselves as one of the top 2 in the league this season. Until someone knocks them off their high-horse I can’t pick against them…

I think the team is way better when Ben throws. Didn't anyone see him toss a stellar game two weeks ago? He moves the ball around, gets everyone involved, keeps defense guessing. Chambers just throws shitty passes half the time, holds onto the ball too long and forced it into spots where it gets picked or it hits the ground. And when he's done stinking it up on the field, he gets a shitty attitude and brings the entire team down.

If Teal wants to win, Ben is the way to go. A good QB isn't just a guy who can throw the ball well, it's someone who LEADS, not bitches and gripes.

Problem with Ben throwing is that he is the best receiver on that team and now you don't have him to actually catch the ball.

He is good, but he can't throw and catch at the same time. (Only Wes can do that ;-))

Wonder if Teel figures out which of their players is "Chambers sucks"

Who ever is QBing for teal this week needs to throw a duck my way. I want another INT. I promise i'll be covering my man so it should be an easy pick for you to throw.
