Week 7 Trash Talk

Let the trash talk begin...

So Chambers almost shocked the world. Can Chambers beat Jelani? Spack should handle Miller this weekend which should give Chambers an excellent shot to still get in if he can beat Jelani. Problem is he got completely annhiliated by him during the seson. Spack and Jenali come out of that pool as expected. The last week should just be for seeding.

The next pool is interesting. Which 2 out of Colin, Noah, and Nick come out. If Noah beats Nick this weekend, it would allow Colin to control his own fate. And yes I am assuming he beats Todd. If Noah loses to Nick, it becomes interesting, as, even with a win against Nick, Colin is in pretty tough being down so many points already. I think Colin will be hoping team Black wins this weekend. Noah and Nick should come out of this one.

1. With all the competition, WMFL still is best league around.

2. Colin can win championships with Mike and DaSilva, but can he without them?

3. TJ and TO are longtime great players that have not won a WMFL championship. Dave Z. although still early, has not either. Tank and Giorgio also.

4. Winning a WMFL title is not easy.

5. Only Miller, Colin, Noah, and Spack are active QBs that have won. And Spacks one was 10 years ago.

6. WMFL has had seasons with 12, 10, 8, and 6 teams. 8 seems to be the sweet spot.

7. There have been countless father-son combinations that play, but AFAIK no grandfather-grandson.

8. Not long ago, the rules were 6 on 6, 5 steamboats, and 2 completions and 20 yards.

9. Most WMFL finals live up to the hype.

Grey is Looking strong vs Spack Last week. Might be closer than people believe. White Defence is not as strong as Gold. Grey may have difficult on Offence But if They can stop Gold O then they have a good chance in staying with them. Not sure If the Grey team keeps up until the last min.

Black Blow out Green Last week? That is a big surprise! This team is looking good lately Strong O and Strong D all the way down the roster this team is full of old experience players with young at heart. I think Noah can repeat for a 2nd year in a row. Orange has young talented inexperience players If NIck looses Focus and doesn't spread the ball around he could see big problems with this team.

I guess I lost hope for team Red. White Looking a little shaky last week vs grey time for Spack to turn it up a notch if he wants to be on the top again. Let's see if he Is or isn't Washed up this year!!

Beat by a better team on the day, simple as that. Obviously missing some guys and some injuries would help the cause but to beat that team we would have needed to play a really solid game regardless and we didn't manage that, mostly cause they didn't allow us to. Gotta be better this week. All credit to a really good black team offense and defence!

Not sure what happened with Green last week, near as I can figure the scores got reversed somehow. Whatever, can't change the past. Obviously Green can't afford to look past Todd this weekend, but we're also pulling for Noah to continue his torrid scoring pace and upset Nick -- don't want to have a 3 way tie at the top at 2-1 when we lost a game by 40 already.

So Nick, don't take it personal or anything, but if your football playing family members all go missing for a week, I assure you that they're mostly unharmed, and that when I get back from Aruba that I'll let them out of the trunk. I'm not gonna lie, I'll probably cut off Frank's hair and donate it to one of those wig-making charities.

Noah -- don't let me down now, you summabitch!

Spack showed once again that he is washed up and needs to get aided by poor reffing to win a game.

You were definitely missed bud. With you and a healthy Mike, it would have been much closer.

Mike, you were a beast even at 50% and a double team. I apologize if you were healthy to which, I'm proud of our team for limiting the damage of one of the best players in the league
