Week 3 Trash Talk

Return this league to what it was.

8 teams, 9:00 am and 10:45 start times, every team has their own individual colors.

A large part of the appeal of this league was being done and home by 12:30-1. Playing at 12:30 which now actually starts closer to 12:45 takes a huge chunk out of your Saturday.

Also, its only Week 3 and we already saw several teams struggle with numbers. Frank and Giorgio played 6 a side and that was with subs from other teams... Spack also had low numbers.

1. Matt. He's cruising through the schedule with dominant performances through three weeks. He could go undefeated.

2. Joe. They're quietly making a case to be top team, but their numbers don't quite match Matt's. This roster has swagger, and is just waiting to see Joe strut. Could be the reason Matt doesn't go undefeated.

3. Jelani. Perennial contender and he has a win over Kyle.

4. Kyle. He has his work cut out if he wants to repeat. Wins over Mike and Frank keep him mid-range in the rankings. He could climb once he's played some more formidable opponents. Rise up Clarkins!

5. Spackman - 2-1 with a big win over Jelani in week 1. One pundit had him ranked last in the preseason rankings, but he's already won more games than Frank, Giorgio, Jack, and Mike combined!

6. Mike - While 0-3, he's faced tough competition. Look for him to win three straight to climb back to 500. Game of the week in week 4. Time to turn the season around.

7. Noah. Wins against Frank and Giorgio, but Ah-No, it all went backwards against Joe with pick sixes on consecutive drives. He should've used his signature pump fake instead of letting Joe's team further pad their stats.

8. Jack. Like Mike, he has faced a brutal opening schedule. He should find enough wins to finish in playoff position. Game of the week coming up.

9. Frank. Defense wins championships. In Frank's case, it will win him a few games in the regular season. Or maybe just the one he just earned in week 3.

10. Giorgio. The season is spinning around the poles.

Let’s not forget that the “questionable” blocking rules that only apply to some. The draft was a complete disaster. Bring back ranked blocks. This league is slipping.

Matt’s team appears to be wiping the floor with everyone yet at the same time it doesn’t seem like they have faced any tough competition yet. Could it be Frank to give them a run for their money this weekend? I think not, he sucks. Kyle will bounce back this weekend with Spacks team looking pretty thin last week. Jack to beat Mike who has struggled and Jelani to beat Noah who got ran through against Joe last weekend. Joe will be taking Giorgio out back and giving him a spanking like Mitch Kramer.
