Doing a survivor pool starting this week to fundraise for my daughter's ringette team. $20 bucks an entry, $10 goes to the team, $10 to the winner pot.

Simply confirm to this email address (u12ppsurvivor@gmail.com) you are in, and then send me one pick a week. I will send out a distibution list Thursday or Friday. Once the games start on Sunday, I will send an update each week.


For those that don't know, the way it works is each week you pick one team to win straight up (no point spread) If that team wins you continue to the next week. If the team you picked loses (or ties) you are eliminated. You cannot pick the same team twice.

All picks must be in by Sunday at 10 am to allow me time to email out the picks to all the participants. To make it simple, Thursday night games are excluded.

I see that Team Black plays Team Orange this week. This is the matchup that I look forward to all year (well, that and my annual interception-fest against Miller). As the readership will know, I love nothing more than beating Haddenses every year. As the Haddens get older and their athletic prowess, armstrength, and balance begin to fade (except for Rich, who's off-season routine has him more nimble and quick than anytime since his time at Juilliard) the playing field evens and my elite brand of play begins to dominate!
I trust that the three cases of beer (Labatt 50) and two bottles of absinthe (the Bulgarian shit that glows, not the weak LCBO stuff) was received at the Hadden compound? Bottoms up boys, and enjoy! Want you in top form for the annual Snyder-Haddenses dual of skills and wit!!!
